Sapphires' Celebrity Portraits

One Night Only will also be the unveiling a series of ultra limited edition celebrity portraits taken by Sapphires themselves. These portraits are all hand signed by the celebrities and will be one of only six being printed.



Jamelia

Jamelia Niela Davis, known simply as Jamelia, is a Mercury Music Prize nominated English R&B singer-songwriter, rapper and occasional model who found fame in early 2000 after impressing music executives at Parlophone Records with self-written acappella songs.

She has released three studio albums, each of which has reached the Top 40 in her native UK, which collectively have spawned eight UK top ten singles. In addition, Jamelia has won four MOBO Awards, a Q award and has received six BRIT Award nominations.



Dougray Scott

Scott began his acting career in regional theatre, television, and puppet shows. He appeared in his first high-profile role on the television series Soldier Soldier and made his film debut in Twin Town. His first major film roles were as Prince Henry in Ever After and the hero in the adaptation of Robert Harris' novel Enigma. In 2000, he signed to play the villain in Mission: Impossible II — hand-picked by star Tom Cruise.

In January 2006, he appeared in the miniseries The Ten Commandments as Mosesand in March of the same year he appeared in the American TV series Heist. From 2006 until 2007, he starred in the third season of Desperate Housewives, as Teri Hatcher's character's new love interest. In 2007, he played the primary antagonist in the film Hitman, based on the popular video game.

Recently, he appeared as the title role(s) of a modern re-telling of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He is currently filming a BBC remake of classic sci-fi novel The Day of The Triffids.



Mickey Rooney

Mickey Rooney is an American film actor and entertainer whose film, television, and stage appearances span nearly his entire lifetime. During his career he has won multiple awards, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award. Best known for his work as the Andy Hardy character and series of films with Judy Garland, Rooney has had one of the longest careers of any actor.

Jan is a true California girl, born in Hollywood and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Before meeting Mickey, Jan toured extensively as a singer and songwriter. She has appeared on stages around the world with a variety of world-renown talents including, Donny Osmond, Chet Atkins, Debbie Reynolds, Joel Gray, Leslie Caron and Placido Domingo. The venues have included London, Glasgow, Deauville, Paris, Spain, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, the Hollywood Bowl and various show rooms in Las Vegas.

In April of 2004, The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awarded Mickey and Jan a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. There star is located at the corner of Hollywood and Highland.



Adam Garcia

Adam left university to take the role of Slide in the production of the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia for two years before transferring to London, England. Adam stayed on in London to act in West End musicals. Garcia played Doody in the West End's version of Grease in London. He also played another Travolta character, Tony Manero, in the stage version of Saturday Night Fever, which ran from 1998 to 1999 in London. Garcia reached #15 in the UK singles chart in 1998, with his cover version of the Bee Gees song "Night Fever", taken from Saturday Night Fever. In 2000 Adam Garcia played Sean in Bootmen, a movie based on the Tapdogs story.

Garcia has been nominated for multiple awards during his acting career. His transition into a film actor began in 1997, when he played Jones in Wilde, a movie about the life of writer Oscar Wilde. Soon after he shot to mainstream fame with a major role in Riding in Cars with Boys as well as the male lead in the Jerry Bruckheimer produced Coyote Ugly.

In September 2006, Garcia began playing Fiyero in the London production of the Stephen Schwartz musical Wicked alongside Idina Menzel, Helen Dallimore and later, Kerry Ellis. He gave his final performance as Fiyero on July 14, 2007. In the latter part of 2008, Adam appeared in two ITV dramas; Britannia High and Mr Eleven, a two-part comedy/drama alongside Michelle Ryan and Sean Maguire. In 2009 he is currently working on an indie film A Woman Called Job, as well as reprising his role as Chip in a Paris stage production of On the Town.



Billy Boyd

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Billy got his first taste of acting in his school's production of Oliver Twist when he was 10.

His first real step into the acting world came when he got accepted to the the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Whilst studying everything from Shakespeare to puppet-making Billy had a few small roles in TV series such as "Down Amongst The Boys" and "Taggart".

After graduating he performed in plays such as 'The Slab Boys' and 'The Diary of Adrian Mole' at The St. Andrews Theatre which were his first paying roles. He then received a call from his agent about the Lord of the Rings movies and if he would like to audition for them. He went along not expecting much, but within a few months Peter Jackson came out to Scotland to meet him and to audition him personally. While rehearsing for another show he received a call from his agent who said that the part of Pippin had been offered to him. The rest, as they say, is history...
