Biography
London born Illustrator, designer and writer Daisy de Villeneuve has made a name for herself with her funky, felt-tip illustrations.
Daisy has featured in campaigns for Gap and Uniqlo as a British style icon. Daisy studied Fashion and Fine Art at Parsons School of Design in both New York and Paris. He Said She Said and I Told You So, her quirky books for Pocko Editions, have been hugely successful. Her felt-tip illustrations have graced shoeboxes for Topshop, followed by the 'Daisy de Villeneuve for Topshop's illustrated range of household products, packaging for Moët & Chandon, cosmetic bags for Boots and T-shirts for the V&A. Other clients include Nike, Habitat VIP, Vogue, Elle Decoration, Nylon, Random House in both the US and UK, hip Paris boutique Colette and Browns Focus.
De Villeneuve has exhibited in numerous group shows worldwide including Tokyo, Athens, Zurich, New York & London. Daisy has had a solo show at London's Fashion & Textile Museum & has recently shown work at Eleven Fine Art. To celebrate 25 years of the British Fashion Council, Transport for London commissioned her to design a special edition Oyster card holder, along with t-shirts & mugs. Daisy is currently working on a solo show for the department store Liberty in the spring.
